Ryan is the founder of VegasTennis.com, and he and Marty Hennessy founded Marty Hennessy's Junior Tennis Foundation where together they have raised over $600,000.00 for children in need in the tennis community. He has over 7 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to entering the Tennis/Non-Profit world Ryan was a senior executive in a firm that acquired and restructured small to mid-size companies in the gaming, financial services, and teleservices industries. Ryan's experience started with CRW Financial, which over a 6 year period acquired, restructured, started and/or divested numerous companies including Central Credit, Inc., Casino Money Centers, Strip Check Cashing, Central Credit Check Cashing, and Telespectrum Worldwide. Ryan was also involved in two initial public offerings, CRW Financial & Telespectrum Worldwide, during this time. Ryan's responsibilities have included business development, operations, marketing, PR, management, seeking out mergers and acquisitions, sales, strategic planning, and creating and overseeing the road show for both public offerings. Ryan started with the firm as protege to the Chairman of the Board and CEO and over 7 years learned a great deal from his mentor Brian O'Neill. His last 3 years were spent as President of Casino Money Centers, which he created from scratch, and under his management, grew to 85 employees with 7 offices nationwide. |

Instill independence, self-confidence by: 1. MENTORING PROGRAM- This is the most significant part of our program. Children need someone who wants to know what they are doing, who takes an interest in their success, failure, and struggles. Just being able to discuss things gets issues out on the table and resolved. Otherwise, a child’s feelings get stuffed down and this creates conflict, which can result in bad behavior. Our mentoring program is significant, and entails a daily interest talking to each child about their grades, about their tennis, about their worries and anxieties, about their relationship with their parents and about their future possibilities. Kids for what ever reason rebel against parents at 12-18 and we help the children see that what their parents want for them is good. To me this is what this Foundation is about. The tennis is just a vehicle to change a child’s life and inspire them to be the best they can be. Our goal is to develop the leaders of the world, who are kind, hard working, competitive, and close to conscience. This formula we know will help children overcome the pressure to do the wrong thing in relationships, with alcohol and other destructive substances or lifestyles. If they feel right by doing right, they will not need false ways to feel right. |

The Foundation, the Wolfington family and Bruce Eichner sponsored a 13-day “East Coast Education, Tennis and Leadership Tour” of Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. Here they visited colleges like Penn, Princeton, and Villanova, then played tennis at the best clubs. They had inspirational speakers every day, including Billie Jean King, Billy Cunningham, Ronald McDonald House Founder Jim Murray, NBA player Jameer Nelson, Villanova coach Jay Wright, and St Joseph’s final 4 coach Phil Martelli. They also visited historical sites like Independence Hall, Valley Forge Park, and finished the trip with 3 days on the beach and a trip to NY with a Broadway show. Then to cap it off, advisory board member Tamyra Alexander and Venetian President Robert Goldstein donated 200 show tickets to Phantom of the Opera and Blue Man Group, which the children will go and see this winter. |

We help the lower and lower-middle income families that at the end of the month have paid their bills but do not have the extra money needed to offer their child a sport, or the kind of training and travel needed to get a college scholarship. The children whose parents are fully occupied making a living to pay the bills, we can help out by offering their children a past time to help mold their character and make them strong, intelligent, and wise. Our players come from a variety of backgrounds, Latino, African American, Polish-American, Philippino, Jewish, and European. Families that ask for help are asked to fill out an application on VegasTennis.com and are given support based on need, attitude and what they are willing to do to earn it. We also help existing non-profit Foundations through tennis grants, partnerships and programming for: Boys and Girls Club Boys and Girls Town orphanage Arthur Ashe Tennis Foundation NET Tennis Association George MacCall Foundation Girls Scouts of Southern Nevada Nevada Tennis Association Middle States Tennis Association Intermountain Tennis Association |
